Syrians are suffering from the hands of both Pro-Assad camps and ISIS.

The process of destabilization in the middle east region which started with 2003 invasion of Iraq is now taking more deadly turns. Aleppo and other Syrian cities are facing genocides of people from pro-Assad forces backed by Russia and the Khomenist regime in Iran, and also from the hands of ISIS.

The countries which started this war mess in the middle east especially US, UK and the countries who supported them are not even accepting refugees.

It is the prime responsibility of OIC countries especially bigger countries like Pakistan, Indonesia, Turkey etc. to stand up and start a peace process in the region. At the moment USA, Russia and Iran are playing their super power game in Syria at the cost of innocent lives.

Saudi Arabia and other GCC cannot be trusted with any peace process either as they are playing their own power games at the cost of human lives in Yemen.

People around the world who believe in justice and humanity should raise their voice on the issues.

If the ongoing genocide in Syria doesn’t end then I am afraid that it will create more sectarian hate based wars in the region.

I hope some sense will prevail and someday in-sha-Allah we will see peace in the region.

Erdogan, Turkey, ISIS, Russia and Syrian mess

After the downing of the Russian Jet when it violated the Turkish airspace, there seems to be a lot of cold war style propaganda against Turkey and its role in Syria. It seems there is a deliberate attempt to take down Turkey using the situation in Syria.

If a liberal and democratic Turkey goes down then it will empower groups like ISIS and create chaos in Middle East and surrounding regions including Europe. Erdogan is not perfect like any other leader of the world but it is stupid to think that he is in bed with ISIS even after ISIS killed hundreds in Ankara blasts. ISIS considers all democratic leaders and their voters as infidels and worthy of being killed including leaders in Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc so it will be really stupid for anyone to support a group which is committed to to kill you, takeover your countries and destroy your system. ISIS is a product of hatred and chaos created after 2003 Invasion, they have no ideological grounds except revenge, hatred and ignorance. They started as a splinter group of Al-Qaida and later joined by Saddam loyalists who were full of vengeance.

If NATO or Russian led alliance want to eliminate ISIS then they need to stop playing super power games in Syria like they played in Afghanistan which resulted in the creation of Al-Qaida type groups.

Before accusing others, Russia first needs to give answers about the downed Malaysian civilian jet and the way they are destabilizing Ukraine.

This whole Syrian game is fishy with no clarity of approach on how to tackle ISIS or Daesh. At the moment Pakistan and China both are doing the right thing by staying out of it despite their own allies pushing them into this mess.

Turkey made a mistake of jumping into this Syrian mess like Pakistan made by jumping into the Afghan mess. Now they are facing similar pressures to do more or accusations of being in bed with the terrorists like Pakistan was facing even after losing a lot of civilians and soldiers in this war.

Many Pakistanis seem to be falling for this game too, mainly due to sectarian or left/right political alignment. Instead of bringing sectarianism from the conflicts between a theocracy like Iran or a family dynasty like KSA, we need to go more towards liberal Muslim democracies like Turkey, Indonesia, Azerbaijan and I hope Pakistan will be in the same or better league too. Things are not perfect in these countries but they seem to go in the right direction with the establishment of democratic processes, strong opposition culture and strong media.

Unfortunately, even in 21st century, we are stuck with theocracies, dictators like Assad or Al-Sissi and backward monarchies.

Disappointments with my friends

I really hate myself while writing this but need to write it to give an honest view point.

I am really disappointed with almost all of my Shia friends who support this war. I thought there must be some good significant number of Shias in Pakistan who don’t blindly toe the line of that Jerk Khemenei or Seestani but here it seems its not the case and almost all are determined to push not only their selves in this more war mess and resulting terrorism but also others too. Almost all my Shia friends cannot see the fact they are being used as a fuel for this war by Pakistani and other pro-war establishments including their beloved Khomenist regime in Iran.

I also criticize sunni or deobandi or ahl-e-hadith or other sects and social classes for the hate based crap some of their leaders or other people do (LeJ or ST or Mumtaz Qadri or Malik Ishaq types) but a clear thing which disappoints me is that others have broad range of views and diversity at extremes (almost all against innocent killings except few mad people) but for my almost all Shia friends it looks that they are toeing some kind of deep rooted hate based agenda against others with no room for reconciliation.

They need to know no anti-war on terror person supports suicide attacks on Hazara or on other Shia communities but what I have seen is that almost all (not all) of my Shia friends feel really happy when they know about deaths of people including children from other sects in tribal areas, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan or any where else. Even in Pakistan, they don’t really sympathize with anyone else but merely use one majority sect like Barelvi against the others like Deobandi or Ahl-e-Hadith. The trend is not just in religious maniacs but also evident in so called liberal or moderates.

I have always criticized army for this war mess but those who think they are being victimized should also see where they are going or what they are becoming in blind hatred.

They are trying to eliminate any space for those who want peaceful resolution of this war issue as probably it doesn’t fit into their hate based agenda to settle some centuries old good for nothing historical issues. Anti-war on terror people always condemn LeJ or other groups but unfortunately my Shia friends almost never condemn aerial bombings or military’s use of heavy conventional or even chemical weapons against other sects which is a crime even in worldly laws.

I don’t have any sympathies now for those who want innocent killings on both sides to satisfy their hatred for other sects and social classes. my only concern is those unrelated (who do not support this war or resulting terrorism) people who die as collateral damage but unfortunately there is no way to discriminate one from the other in aerial or suicide bombings which Shia groups want when they support this war.

May the wrath of Allah be on those from both sides of the conflict (Army, TTP, MWM,LeJ,SUC,SIC, PPP, ST,PMLN,MQM or others) who support these mass murders either through aerial/drone/military bombings or through suicide attacks.

Even India never does aerial bombings (drone or jet) on civilian populated areas despite almost 2 dozens of insurgencies.

I pray for the hardest wrath of Allah on those who consider innocent dead kids as an unavoidable or tolerable or necessary collateral damage.

I still pray for the blind followers of this corrupt system to get on the path of justice and peace but it seems we are going for complete self-destruction.

If the hatred is about religion or sects then at least while supporting aerial bombings, we should remember what the holy book says:

“O ye who believe! Be steadfast witnesses for Allah in equity, and let not hatred of any people seduce you that ye deal not justly. Deal justly, that is nearer to your duty. Observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do.” [Al-maeda ,8]

USAID fame Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and Iranian poodles MWM joining hands against talks with Talibans. It gives some idea how things are going in the region especially Iraq and Afghanistan. Syria was just a trap set for rising Turkey and another way to exploit sectarianism in the region.

If Shias realize how harmful these Khomenists are for their interest then it can bring some chance of peace for them and others. If these corrupt Sunni Ittehad council guys start not to use sectarianism to gain monetarily or politically then they can do some good for others too.

Both are playing as puppets of USA/Iran and their slaves in army/agencies/politics to push Pakistan into more and more war mess.

Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are no saints and have committed too many transgressions against non-combatant populations but they are the result of this mess. This phenomenon of terrorism cannot be dealt properly if we do not address the root cause of this mess. Root causes are Pakistan army’s role of a mercenary organization for their client USA against Afghanistan and Pakistani tribes, Pakistan’s soil being used for NATO supplies to strengthen the occupation, Pakistani bases being used to occupy a neighboring country (also for drones) and finally one of the main root cause is the support to these wars and wrong actions provided by sectarian and social class fascists sitting in army, politics, media and civil society.

People need to learn that senseless bombings and operations have created most of these militants in the first place and continuing with this bullshit will only create more terrorism. But how can someone convince those who are blinded by sectarianism or dollars?

Do the designers of this war have any favorite sects or social classes?

The designers of this wars sitting in Washington surely make it look like a war between sufi vs non sufi or shia/barelvi vs deobandi/ahl e hadith/wahabi sects or between liberals and conservatives or moderates and extremists or between other social class groupsbut in actual they don’t share even a little bit of sympathy for anyone.

All they know is to exploit fault lines which they are doing. i agree that IK seems to be the only major leader who has some sort of idea what is going on with this war or in the region.

The unfortunate part is that their dollar slaves in Pakistan are also toeing their line despite seeing all the destruction. Another dangerous element of this war is Khomenist’s direct and indirect support which is also not helping the cause. They think they can go on for long with their sectarian imperialism but in actual they are destroying the future of not only Sunnis or others they don’t like but most importantly they are harming the interests of people they claim to represent i.e Shias in the region.

Its time to start acting like thinking humans not some sheep or insects. We need to come out of this self-destructive mode.

 

Hakeem-ullah Mehsud, Drone Strike and Peace Talks

I just saw new reports saying that Tehrik e Taliban (TTP) leader Hakeem ullah Mehsud has been killed in recent drone strikes in tribal areas of Pakistan.

Hakim ullah was/is one of the most controversial figures of our country. His death like this might have made some people happy and some people are surely confused about the legitimacy or moral justification of extra-judicial killings.

In my view if you think that extra-judicial killing of Hakeem ullah Mehsud through a drone strike is a good news then you are part of the terrorism problem Pakistan is into. These strikes are not only an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty but they are one of the main reasons behind the mess.

They did similar with Naik Muhammad when he was willing to talk which motivated Bait ullah Mehsud to start his war, then same happened with Bait ullah Mehsud when there was a momentum of talks which paved way for Hakeem ullah Mehsud and now Hakeem ullah Mehsud got the same treatment when he was willing to talk. Hakeem ullah was not a saint (In fact I think of him as an unwanted product of this war mess) but killing him like this will only create more like him and not to forget the legitimacy USA will try to get for its drone strikes war crimes through this.

It seems USA and its puppets in Pakistan along with Khomenists in establishment and civil society don’t want Pakistan to come out of this war mess.

On one hand both USA and Iran are talking to Talibans using back doors but for Pakistan, they have a different plan. They want Pakistan to remain stuck in this war and internally implode.

Transgressions were done from both sides (army and talibans) but we need ot address the root cause first. Root cause lies in military operations and army’s support to USA war against afghanistan/pakistani tribal areas. I am not sure how many people will keep their sanity when they will be bombed day and night mercilessly especially when they know that different sections of society support these insane bombings by army and drones due to their sectarian and social class prejudices. Imagine the trauma for kids who were and are growing into this mess. these kids can be used by anyone for anything as they have only seen senseless death and destructions through out their lives especially at a time when thier minds and thought processes are taking shape.

How many suicide attacks were there before this war? How many militant taliban groups were operating as TTP before this war and military operations?

Reports of mass murders in Egypt by Fatah al Sisi and support to his regime by USA and Saudi Arabia

Recent reports of mass murder by Fattah al Sisi’s regime have exposed the hypocrisy of USA and its European allies for their commitment to democracy.USA and its allies in EU are still standing with the Egyptian dictator despite mass murders. No one expects any good from Saudi and UAE monarchy who have no regards for democracy, human rights and freedom. Situation in Egypt is becoming more like that of Syria where another dictator Bashar al Assad is killing people in hundreds with the support or Iran and Russia.

Its time for Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey,Syria and Central Asian countries to get their countries out of the influence of USA/Saudi Arabia who support mass murdering dictator in Egypt and Russia/Iran who support mass murdering dictator in Syria. Muslims have wasted a lot of time by taking sides in the affairs of these evil regimes in Iran, Saudi Arabia, USA and Russia.

Situations in Syria and Egypt should open up the eyes of freedom and justice loving people in Muslim world.

Egypt, Morsi and a new game by pro-zionist forces

So the Egyptian army is trying to bring that Zionist scum bag El-Beradi (Iraq nuclear inspection fame and his party was number 3 in last elections) in place of elected Morsi. The message seems to be clear for parties with Islamic background and that seems to be that fake liberals and zionist powers will not give you space in normal democratic system and the only option left for you is militancy. In other words, Egypt needs to choose between Morsi or Al-Zawahiri. It is also interesting to see that pro-Assad and pro-Khomenist/Sistanists are also supporting this effort from strongly pro-Zionist Military. These hypocrites were also supporting failed uprising in Turkey from sectarian and social class fascist groups. It seems Syria was a trap created by Iran and Zionist powers (like the colluded in Iraq and Afghanistan) with the help of Bashar al-Assad’s fascist regime for both Erdogan and Morsi which they successfully avoided and so the next step was to use westernized media and various groups (with conflicting interests themselves) against these two leaders.

I don’t say that every thing is perfect about Morsi and his rule but we need to see that they are in transition from being a country with decades of dictatorship into some sort of democracy where at least people can criticize the government and raise voice for rights. Military intervention will stop this learning process and can lead Egypt to a civil war.

Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline, sectarianism and conflict of interests

I am in favor of allowing Iran to sell its gas or oil or anything freely in Pakistan to private sector without considering USA but strongly oppose this pipeline project which makes govt. to buy gas from tax payer’s money at 3.5+ times higher (from an average 3.5 $/MMBTU to 13$/MMBTU) rate than they buy today. It seems almost all political parties are afraid to take a stand on this and calling it a good project because of the religious black mailing Iranian sponsored mullahs and their followers do (not all Shias but only those who do it and they include Sunni groups as well).

Interesting to see that after a nice photo session with Khemenei and Ahmedinejad, MWM is also not putting any pressure on Zardari government like they were doing before. It seems establishment or at least those who may have got heavy kickbacks for this project have a boogeyman in the form of LeJ which they used to mobilize Shia population to pressurize political parties and civil society so that they will digest this deal in a hope of sectarian harmony. I have sympathies with those who died in this dirty game but people also need to see who is getting benefits from this game.

Pakistan is going all the way to risk sanctions but Iran is not giving any concessions on oil prices. Zardari government deliberately made sure that fuel mix for Pakistan don’t shift to a much cheaper option like coal and also Iran successfully made sure that Pakistan don’t get direct access to Central Asia gas. Now Iran is buying cheap gas from Turkmenistan and selling expensive gas to Pakistan.

Iran only supports those shias who kneel down to Khomenist regime in Iran otherwise it treats them with same carrot and stick policy which it exercises with Azerbaijan. Iran tried to play Shia card to create tension between Turkey-KSA and Azerbaijan and after failing in that it started to develop ties with Armenia which is the arch enemy of Azerbaijan (Turkey, KSA support Azerbaijan in territorial conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia). Some reports even say that Iran supported Armenian militants in Karabakh war.

We also need to see who should hold high offices in the country to ensure that interests of Pakistan and its people are protected. They have banned the people with dual nationality to take part in elections or to hold high offices of responsibility. But what about those who have their spiritual-political or religious-political affiliations outside Pakistan?

Being a Sunni, Shia, Deobandi, Wahabi, Barelvi etc is another thing but recognizing authority of Waliat e Faqih or Amir ul Momnin position of Mullah Umar or Seestani or any other mullah or sufi which creates a conflict of interest between constitutional duties and these affiliations should be checked as well. Constitution says sovereignty belongs to Allah and talks about Quran and Sunnah not Mullah,Ayatollah, Sufi or some cultism thing.

We need to see whose wars we are fighting? or when we will stop presenting our people as fuel for these useless wars and conflicts serving the interests of ruling elite and their foreign masters?

A message to sensible people in Israel on Hamas and Iran’s no Israel stance

We have been listening the concerns of western and Israeli people over the statements by Iran or Hamas or Hezbollah who don’t accept Israel. There are few things which Israelis and the supporters of Israel should understand in this situation.

First is that if Israel keeps creating Gaza like situation then this idea will take more firm roots. In 1947 when UN was voting for partition, even Muslim countries like Pakistan first approached Arabs to take part in the voting and support the partition. The main demand of Arabs at that time was that Israel and its supporters need to give them proper assurances that Israel will not go for expansionism.

Even I and many Muslims/Arabs support the two state solution of middle east but if Israel keeps killing Palestinians, keeps expanding its territory and keeps the blockade then I don’t think Israel will remain with peace and will always face this existential problem especially with emerging new ways of asymmetric warfare. They need to realize that not everyone buys the “Chosen People” logic which they have sold to Americans and Europeans for a long time.

For many the idea looks absurd that a group of people leaves the land thousands of years ago based on their own will (or the will of the God) and then comes back to forcefully reclaim their promised land from people who remained in the area and most of them converted to another religion. Even Orthodox Jews and Many Bible believing Christians including Bethlehem Church doesn’t buy the whole idea.

If Israel wants peace and proper recognition then it needs to come out of the Stern Gang mentality they are showing for many decades. Many of them even include Jordan as part of their promised land plan and Jordan is the one which recognizes Israel. Israel uses holocaust as an excuse to cover up what it is doing but without keeping in context that it was Europe which persecuted them for centuries and it was Nazis who did the holocaust. Muslims and Ottomans especially gave them refuge in the are and allowed them to live, buy properties, do businesses and farming, and hold high government positions. A lot has happened in last 6-7 decades which has added to the bitterness and blockade or bombing of Gaza (simply to test its Iron dome project) will not help any cause. Israel thinks that with USA backed military superiority, it will keep doing what it is doing but in changing Middle East and rise of new poles (Palestinian voting should give some idea) will not give it an easy time. Even today many Arabs/Palestinians and other Muslims can accept 1947 plan but again Israel has to quit its expansionism plans and violations of human rights.

Israel needs to understand one basic thing:

No Justice No Peace!

Iran’s Earthquake and Sanctions

According to media reports, more than 300 people have died in Iran’s deadly twin earthquakes. Aid and rescue services from international channels are facing difficulty in reaching to Iran or sending support due to sanctions from USA and UN.

I don’t agree with Iran’s policies of spreading sectarianism across the region or supporting Assad’s brutal regime but I disagree with sanctions affecting civilian populations. These sanctions affect common people who don’t have much control over the policies of their govt. and especially in natural disaster type situations these sanctions are unjust and cruel.

In times like these, people should think beyond political or geo-strategic goals and differences. After all we are all humans and have same red colored blood.
