German Dentist Fined for Anti-Hijab Bias –> Some refreshing news from Germany

Many of you may know about the hijab ban issue in Europe including Germany. But in an interesting news, Germany’s industrial tribunal has fined a Dentist for showing discrimination against her hijab wearing female Muslim employee. The decision should be welcomed by all of those who believe in religious freedom and human rights.

We support this decision and expect that things will go much better in future as well.

BERLIN – A German court has ruled against a dentist who had refused to employ a veiled Muslim woman because she declined to remove her headscarf, blaming him for breaching the Equal Treatment Act.

“The dentist broke the law because he refused the plaintiff the position only because she didn’t want to take off her headscarf,” the spokesman for the Berlin industrial tribunal said, UPI news agency reported on Friday, October 19.

This way or highlighting this normal case of civil right in any civilized nation, you can come to win win game???
I am living in Pakistan but I try my best to not assign any job/counter/ making deals etc to talbanic costume person or strictly hijab wearing lady.What it means I am becoming racial or like that.No it is not that we have come influence of wave of terror through different means.Right or wrong but we all are sensing some kind of abnormal change around us on the name of religious themes.So what ever bans are imposing people should review its causes instead of confronting.

  This shows you don’t understand the concept of freedom of religious practices or the concept of basic human rights at all. This type of social class fascist behavior is no good. In Pakistan, there is no shortage of fake liberals who don’t have any idea of freedom of religion and its a disappointing thing to say but you seem to be one of them. Linking terrorism with a way of life is so absurd that it only looks a time wasting thing to discuss about it. Check how stallin, hitler, obama, bush etc look like and I am sure they have killed more people than any woman with hijab. Its sheer incompetence to judge the working potential of a person based on how they look and what they wear.

    It doesn’t show I don’t understand concept of freedom of religious practice but it shows that some group is trying to show dominance of their religious beliefs through tool of violence and power to other people and then they try to avoid this group in any field.Subcontinent has fine history of religious harmony were all Hindus, Sikh Muslim parsi, and even jews had enjoyed their and others religious concept without giving space narrow minded approach.It is so interesting that most of them were known as illiterate class and not even went to high school education but they generation wise given respect to each other.But induction of Afghans fighters and then British has sabotaged this religious harmony through violence and tactful games now at this stage paid groups and intelligence circles are doing same job.Civilized groups away work in moderate approachability neither claim their values of moderation nor follow the narrow minded principles and as safe option try to avoid this group for narrowing their social circle.
    Get information, gul hameed, farhat hasmi, bhutto, qazi hussain ahmed, dr afias’ parents etc and even IK preferred that their children should settled abroad in west and they only live and work here to fool the people.

As far as hijab is concerned, its not a practice of Talibans. Hijab dates back to the time of Prophet (S.A.W) and in fact even more and women like Maryam (A.S) and others used to wear this. I am sure wives of Prophet (S.A.W) and Sahaba (R.A) were not part of Taliban movement.

  Yes sure hijab is typical practice of Arab women as far as Muslim community is concerned not for purpose of as hidden specie but clearly distinguish between Muslim and non Muslim community at the time when Islam has started taken its start from Arab land.Later on this face covering was imposed to secure their beautiful women from the wicked eyes of Muslim corrupt rulers who are all time ready to follow this sunnah when ever they saw or heard existence of any beautiful lady in their premises.
  In subcontinent culture hiajb had no place but sure face covering was found in all religious culture mostly depending upon family traditions.

    Well I find it lame to decide what ideology people should follow and what they should not follow. Alienating people on the basis of wearing hijab or not or covering face or not looks an absurd thing to me. I think, this shows lack of thinking capacity on part of both type of people who either consider women who don’t do hijab as bad or who consider women wearing hijab as bad. This type of treatment of each other as aliens is one of the main causes of the deep mess we are in.

You have very poor social observations and trying to focus on theory of human principles.What ever you said above is for civilized society where majority are well groomed and quite aware of level/range of depth of human minds. Lets come straight to Pakistani society where I am quite sure that his hijabs or beard culture mostly depicts sign of hypocrisy or for fooling by giving cover of religious gild.This is same way when one uses his tag as Al hajj abc or showing his cosmetic religious affiliation through all available means ofr covering his/her black deed.In Pakistan hijab and beard culture is mostly promoted for fake camouflage and behind this all kinds of state and moral crimes are planned to fool the public

well hypocrisy is not just associated with so called hijabis or bearded people. fake liberals in Pakistan are bigger hypocrites. They call themselves liberals but they don’t have any idea what does it mean to be. being liberal starts with having open minds towards other ideas and practices. the thing we see in Pakistan is social class fascism and you seem to be part of this trend too. I don’t put genuine liberals in this category as i believe any genuine liberal cannot treat others as aliens.
