People from all over the world need to support the earthquake victims in Haiti.
Haiti is in a real need of help as a huge area of the country jolted and destroyed by one of the biggest natural disasters of history.
Over 100,000 people are estimated dead and many are injured with the collapse of residential, administrative and other infrastructure.
Surrounded by death, Haitians refuse to give up
PORT-AU-PRINCE–The attitude of Haitians, two days after the catastrophe, mirrors the ruined scenery that surrounds them.
Like the perfectly intact buildings that stand beside the destroyed ones, the survivors are standing despite the corpses.
The only people who aren’t on their feet here are the dead. It appears nothing can bring Haitians to their knees.
