The Pakistan Government has been ordered to secure the release of scientist Dr. Aafia Siddiqui from US custody.

The Islamabad High Court made the ground-breaking directive in a move welcomed by her family, supporters and anyone who wants to see justice delivered to a woman who has been trapped in a hellish existence for the last six years.
However, not everyone is happy that Justice Raja Saeed Akram has ordered the government to work towards bringing Aafia home.
As I discovered a few days ago during a visit to Pakistan it seems her ex-husband Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan has been briefing against the mother of his three children.
In an exclusive interview given to Karachi journalist Aroosa Masroor at The News, Dr. Khan said that most claims about Aafia, propagated to garner public support and sympathy, are untrue.
Why he chose to break his silence after six years is not immediately obvious … unless you buy in to the crazy theory that he was instrumental in his wife’s arrest and disappearance.
Of course it would be outrageous and defamatory to suggest Dr. Khan was involved and I certainly have no evidence to suggest otherwise, but what intrigues me is why this man would want to try and deliberately mislead the public as he did in his first on-the-record interview.
I am not sure what are his motives but, in a conference I gave at the Islamabad National Press Club this week I threw out a challenge to Dr. Khan to either put up or shut up.
In his February 18 interview he said: “Aafia’s release cannot be secured by propagating stories based on falsehood and deception,” and then he went on to tell a lie so blatant that I can no longer remain silent, and here’s why.
He reckons that the iconic photograph of Aafia, slumped to one side with eyes closed, was a stunted up picture taken by her sister Fowzia years ago. He even goes into fine detail explaining her injured mouth, saying that Aafia’s upper lip was cut by a milk bottle in an accident.
Fowzia, he says, warned him at the time that if he tried to divorce Aafia, she would use the picture against him alleging him to be an abusive husband. “It was made to appear in the picture that Aafia was badly injured. Today, the same picture is being circulated in the media to claim that Aafia was tortured for years in Bagram,” he states in The News interview.
There’s no hesitation in this statement – he is very clear about the origins of ‘that picture’. Well I am also clear about the origins of ‘that picture’ because it was taken by the office of the Governor of Ghazni in July 2008.
How do I know? Because the governor told me so himself, and then showed me copies of that and other pictures taken of Aafia on the day of her arrest that he stored on his personal laptop. If you check this unedited footage shot by film-maker Hassan al Banna Ghani who accompanied me on my investigations to Pakistan and Afghanistan last year, the origins of that iconic picture become very clear.
That is why I stood up in a press conference a few days ago and called Dr. Khan a liar, and then invited him to sue me “in a court of his choice” for slander and defamation. As a journalist I know the seriousness of making such a statement and I do not make it lightly but I also mean what I say and say what I mean.
In the meantime, I will let you – the viewer – make your own judgment about the photograph of Dr. Aafia. Perhaps you have your own theories about why her ex-husband would lie. Here is the clip
The divorce was, without doubt, a very bitter experience for both sides as most divorces are. Bitterness can remain a lifetime companion, but at the end of the day Dr. Aafia is the mother of his three children and as such she deserves his support and respect.
If he can’t give it, then I suggest Dr. Khan returns to the shadows once more and stops briefing against his wife.
Sharing details of his failed marriage with Dr. Aafia, serves no purpose although I have to question why Dr. Khan signed a legal agreement whereby the custody of the three children was given to Aafia after their split, if he really thought his wife was (as he portrays in the article) … a violent, unstable woman in the sway of jihadists.
In the meantime two of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s children – Marium now aged 10, and six-year-old Suleiman – are still missing.
Perhaps that is something which would concern any parent, but Dr. Khan states casually: “I am sure they are around Karachi and in contact with their maternal family as both Aafia and the children were seen around their house here and in Islamabad on multiple occasions since their alleged disappearance in 2003.
“They may be living under an assumed identity just like Aafia and Ahmed had been living [as Saliha and Ali Ahsan] for five years before they got arrested.”
He said Dr. Fowzia’s claim that the children are missing after being removed from the Bagram prison in Afghanistan “may be an attempt to attract sympathy of the government and the people and distract its attention from the real location.”
He also attempts to pour cold water on claims that Aafiya was held in US custody, including Bagram for five years – but how would he really know?
I, on the otherhand, have eye witness accounts that the woman known as Prisoner 650 who was held in Bagram for years is none other than Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
Even the US authorities, after months of denial, finally supported my statements and admitted that Prisoner 650 was indeed a female detainee in their custody.
The only dispute we have now is the identity of Prisoner 650. The US authorities say she isn’t Aafia but refuse to say who she is and to which country she was returned.
I, on the other hand, now have an interview statement given freely by former Guantanamo detainee Binyam Mohamed confirming that Prisoner 650 and Dr. Aafia Siddiqui are one in the same. This man saw her during his time in Bagram and has made a positive identification. His evidence is, in my opinion, irrefutable.

I now understand Aafia’s case is going to be submitted to the International Court of Justice in The Hague and that the government of Pakistan is making serious efforts on this issue.
In the meantime the case against Aafia will be resumed in New York later this month after a psychologist and physician give their reports regarding her health and if she is fit to plead.
The court hearing is, in itself, illegal and I’m not sure how it can go ahead. I say that on the basis Aafia, is after all a Pakistani citizen who is being tried for an alleged offence carried out in Afghanistan. She is only standing trial in America because she was put on a rendition flight to America – and was certainly not extradited.

Daniel Bland’s Open Letter to Charlie Sheen
Let me begin by expressing my gratitude and respect for your honorable decision to turn up the heat on this evil conspiracy which has invaded our country from within our own borders. You are a very brave man, and deserve the respect of every true blooded American citizen!
I started blogging this year on 7/7, and my intention was to share with my family, friends, and the entire world the fact that we have been deceived by an nearly inconceivable evil conspiracy. Tonight I watched the History Channel’s 9/11 Conspiracy Hit Piece, and I began to get angry as I watched their propaganda! Their distortion of the truth disturbed me so deeply that, God had to calm my soul by sending me the vision of how we can finally settle this debate………..ONCE AND FOR ALL!
When people tell lies, they often end up getting caught because of the inherent human need to tell more and more lies to cover up the original lie. I know this because I was a bad liar as a child, and this is one of the main reasons I always got busted. Since I could never get away with being a liar, there is no reason the same shouldn’t apply to the true conspirators behind the 9/11 False Flag Attack, the worst domestic attack in the history of our great nation.
I believe the Flight 93 story will prove to be the lie that will finally awaken America, it serves the true conspirators well since they felt the need to make movies about their big lie. I have seen an abundance of troubling information regarding this flight, and I will re-post some of it at the end of this letter. The biggest reason I have such a hard time with the “official” Flight 93 story, is because I have never seen photographic or video evidence of another plane crash in history where there was absolutely NO visible aircraft debris remaining. This crash was so powerful that it destroyed a huge metal airliner, yet driver’s licenses magically survived unscathed? Red bandanas worn by the “Muslim” hijackers miraculously survived a crash that completely demolished a HUGE metal airliner? Seriously? Aren’t bandanas traditionally made of cotton? It’s a miracle they survived the inferno! Maybe they were fireproof bandanas only used by elite “Muslim” hijackers?
Beyond these issues, I have also seen a video which allegedly shows satellite imagery of the Shanksville crash site from 1994 where the long scar in the ground pre-dated 9/11/01 by at least seven years, and possibly much longer. What about the strange passenger phone calls from Flight 93, especially those of Cee Cee Lyles and Mark Bingham? How did they identify all the passenger’s remains when multiple first responders reported seeing absolutely no signs of human remains at the crash site?
Let’s get this straight, the crash completely destroyed the entire metal plane and left absolutely no sign of human remains, yet driver’s licenses and cotton bandanas magically survived to support the “official” government backed conspiracy theory.
As you are probably well aware, the Flight 93 flew directly over the greater Cleveland area before turning around, or so the story goes. There were multiple witnesses who reported two planes grounded at the Cleveland Airport, and at least one brief media report (later retracted) that Flight 93 landed at the Cleveland Airport. Many people believe the NASA building at the Cleveland Airport was a crime scene on September 11, 2001.
As we begin to connect the dots of Flight 93, we find a story which reads eerily similar the Operations Northwoods/Mongoose documents which remained classified “Top Secret” for many years, but were declassified in 1997 and are now available for anyone to read on-line at archives.gov. The declassified documents contain senior level military planning to conduct false flag terror attacks inside the United States as a pretext to invade Cuba. Here is an excerpt from the memos which were drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and signed off on by the chairman, Lyman Lemnitzer in 1962………
b. We could blow up a drone (unmanned) vessel anywhere in the Cuban waters. We could arrange to cause such incident in the vicinity of Havana or Santiago as a spectacular result of Cuban attack from the air or sea, or both. The presence of Cuban planes or ships merely investigating the intent of the vessel could be fairly compelling evidence that the ship was taken under attack. The nearness to Havana or Santiago would add credibility especially to those people that might have heard the blast or have seen the fire. The US could follow up with an air/sea rescue operation covered by US fighters to “evacuate” remaining members of the non-existent crew. Casualty lists in US newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation.
All this evidence, plus much more, has been readily available to the general public for many years. Once I discovered the truth behind 9/11, I thought my family and friends would join me in demanding justice on behalf of the victims of the attacks, especially once I began sharing all the evidence with them. However, they remain unconvinced which means they need just a little more proof. Mr. Sheen, if you will accept my “Open Letter” into your 9/11 Contest, I will use the $14,000.00 prize money as a down payment of a Boeing 757-222 that we can crash straight into the ground to recreate the Shanksville crash site. We can fill it full of jet fuel, and use remote control technology to fly it straight into the ground at full throttle. Once people see the crash wreckage, the remaining “official story” supporters will immediately realize that they have believed a terrible lie for eight plus years.. Hey, it’s nothing to be embarrassed about because I remained duped for over seven years myself.
The US Government spent $175,000,000.00+ to investigate the Columbia disaster where we tragically lost the lives of seven astronauts. Yet they only spent $15M to investigate the worst homeland attacks in the history of our country? The 9/11 Attacks claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 innocent Americans. That tragic morning has led us to spend trillions of dollars on wars, trillions of dollars in financial bail-outs, and we’ve sat idle as the constitution is being shredded before our eyes. Given all that, flying a jet into the ground seems like bargain! Where are our priorities? Mr. Sheen, you and I both know the government will not fund this exposure of their involvement in the attacks, so it will be up to us. Our investment will be a small price to pay for putting an end to this evil system of greed based tyranny, and future generations will remember you as a True American Hero!
To summarize, let’s work to recreate the Flight 93 crash scene, with an open and honest experiment to determine whether we can create a second magical plane disappearing act by crashing an identical plane into the ground at full speed. This will settle the debate once and for all, and America can finally reunite! It will be much cheaper than the Columbia Investigation, and they can’t hide this information under the guise of “national security”. What do you say, Mr. Sheen?

Appeal to the civil society of world–>Justice required in Nayyar Zaidi case
It’s a real shame for USA justice system that every now and then we see people becoming victims of state run security agencies and the justice system in USA fails to protect them.
We have seen a shameful example of Dr. Aafia Siddiqi who is still having terrible time in USA and also an old man with the name Nayyar Zaidi is going through a mental torture because of the USA system of justice.
We in Pakistan and other third world countries are used to of similar but a country which claims to be the most progressive civilization and a symbol of democracy should not have such things in their society.
It is quiet clear that Nayyar Zaidi was trapped by USA security agencies in a shamefully false case and the victim’s family is getting not much help from the civil society of the world.
Therefore we appeal to the civil society of the world to do what ever they can to provide justice to an old man is who is facing may be the toughest time of his life.

Regarding Nayyar Zaidi Case in a recent email from Zaidi family the family expressed their sorrow over the sad death news of Mr. Muhammad Tariq Khan’s brother in-law’s, Zaidi family conveyed their condolences to Mr. Khan and his family and pray Allah for mercy and blessing on deceased soul.
Zaid family also expressed their gratitude for Mr. Khan and the whole group for their unconditional support to Mr. Zaidi and his family in this trying time, Mr. Zaidi is still suffering in jail for a crime he never committed. The family regretted the fact that President Zardari was recently in Washington and the Ambassador Haqqani was with him all along, who himself is a veteran journalist, but they never approached any of the family members and never raised Zaidi case on any level with US officials

I am shocked to know that Dr. Afia Siddiqui, a Pakistani citizen has been missing with her three children since April 2003, after her arrest by Pakistani authorities. The whereabouts of children is also unknown, which is a serious act of negligence on the part of the government with regard to its responsibility to protect the citizen of the Pakistan.
According to the information I have received Dr. Afia was picked-up by Pakistani authorities while on her way to the airport and initial reports suggested that she was handed over to the American FBI. A few days later an American news channel, NBC, reported that Afia had been arrested in Pakistan on suspicion of facilitating money transfers for terror networks of Osama Bin Laden.
On April 1, 2003, a small news item was published in an Urdu daily with reference to a press conference of then Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat when, in reply to a question regarding the arrest of Dr. Siddiqui, he said she has not been arrested. A weekly English magazine in its special coverage on Dr. Afia reported that after one week of the incident, an intelligence agency official, a motor cyclist in plain clothes, came to the house of her mother and warned ‘We know that you are connected to higher-ups but do not make an issue out of her daughter’s disappearance’ and threatened her with dire consequences. After this development the whereabouts of Dr. Afia and her children are yet unknown.
What is also of grave concern to me is that when she was arrested by Pakistani authorities she was handed over to American intelligence agencies without being tried in Pakistan, I do not find any rationale in sending her along with her children to other country when there are Pakistani laws to deal with the suspected terrorists. It is known that President Musharraf handed over 600 suspected terrorists to America.
There are reports that in Afghanistan’s prison of Bagram there is a woman prison known as Prisoner 650 and that she has been severely tortured. It is also widely suspected that Prisoner 650 is Dr. Afia Siddiqui. This prisoner has reportedly lost her mind due to constant rape and ill treatment.
I remind you that this is the duty of coalition government under Prime Minister Mr. Yousaf Raza Gillani to probe cases of those Pakistani suspected terrorists who have been handed over to foreign forces in the name of war on terror. The government should also inform Pakistani citizens about the whereabouts of Dr. Afia Siddiqui and her children. I also demand that government should also ensure the safety of her children.

This is a series of harm done by US Army, in the name of war on terror, on innocent Muslims. Another similar case of complete brutality was the rape of 14 yr old girl in Mahmudiyah, Iraq, were Private Green was found to be the main culprit. What happened later to him, remains a mystery.
No justice was done to that forgotten girl, and nobody, no shameless American media or civil rights leader ever bothered to raise those questions again.
It’s a duty on Muslims of the world to unite on this incident and make a unified demand for justice on Afia Siddiqui. Bring those who are responsible for destroying the life of Afia Siddiqui and her 3 innocent children.
So being a Muslim and brother to sister Afia, I demand the following:
1. Pakistan Army should stop cooperating with (and taking military aid from) any and all military, intelligence and any other security agencies based, sponsored or funded by USA.
2. A trial has already begun in US courts alleging her that she helped terrorists. A counter trial should be initiated by Muslims. Expert and only expert lawyers from around the US, especially Muslims lawyers, should hired for this case and funding can be guaranteed by asking zakat and khairat donations throughout the world, through Muslim websites and Media channels.
3. Purpose of the trial – to expose and bring to justice the persons & departments in US Govt. involved in :
a. Authorizing kidnapping of Afia Siddiqui,
b. People involved in detaining her in Pakistan, Afghanistan and USA and exposing all the locations and places she has been taken to.
c. Inform and find her children – where they were during all this time, what traumas they have faced
d. Persons, who authorized and implemented any kind of torture on her children and who were responsible for detaining them
e. Bring to justice any military official involved in physically torturing Afia Siddiqui while she was kept in US, Pakistani & Afghani custody.
f. Expose all the plastic surgery of Afia Siddiqui, either it was dental facial or any kind of cosmetic treatment or any other kind of treatment performed on Afia Siddiqui between the dates of March 30, 2003 upto her 11th August 2008.
g. Expose the name of the persons involved in master minding and authorizing the plastic surgery for obstruction of justice. Those
