If this is not terrorism then what is?
“Fifteen people on their way to a wedding in Yemen were killed in an air strike after their party was mistaken for an al Qaeda convoy, local security officials said on Thursday.
The officials did not identify the plane in the strike in central al-Bayda province, but tribal and local media sources said that it was a drone.”
I don’t agree with JI’s decision of sticking with Pakistan in 1971 especially when Yahya and Bhutto opted for the slaughter of Bengalis but hanging someone through kangaroo courts for political affiliation or political decisions is shameful.
I think Sheikh Hasina is exploiting social class differences in Bangladesh to forward her hate based agenda and people who support such murders are the reason these tyrants like Hasina exist. These supporters of tyranny also exist in Pakistan, Egypt, Syria and many parts of the world and its always an honor to stand up against them.
Recent disturbing reports of political persecution and cornering of opposition parties indicate how power can make people blind. Sheikh Haseena Wajid, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, seems to be interested in risking even a civil war on her road to forming absolute authoritarian regime.
In latest development, BD government is going with the execution plan of key opposition leader, Abdul Qadir Mulla of Jamat e Islami. These current cruel polices are given a cover of 1971 war crimes punishment. A kangaroo court, International War Tribunal was formed with political appointments and nothing international about it, to legitimize the executions. 1971 civil war and persecution of Bengalis by Pakistan army were horrible events indeed but if Sheikh Haseena is interested in punishing the real culprits then she should go for an independent and fair trial covering criminals from both sides instead of exploiting the feelings of grief and anger for her political gains.
Its time for justice loving people in Bangladesh to rise up and fight against the tyrannical rule of Sheikh Haseena.
Recent statement by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf, Imran Khan regarding Pak-India joint civil nuclear project on border is make some headlines in the news.
I think it’s not a bad idea but private sector should take the lead. It seems not everyone including people in PMLN or so called liberals like MQM are not happy with it and they are trying to show some security concerns regarding the project.
How scientifically uneducated people are that they cannot understand the difference between civil nuclear and military nuclear programs. He is talking about using the existing tech infrastructure in both countries for the betterment of the people like countries in Europe did after world wars when they built CERN or cooperated for other areas.
It is amazing that people who pushed Pakistan into this self-destructive imported ‘war on terror’ are criticizing a positive suggestion by someone who was warning Pakistanis about the negative consequences of jumping into the war, more than a decade ago.
He also talked about resolving the core issue of Kashmir, the cause which I strongly support, but not much focus on that by MQM or other pro-War groups who have been found working for foreign powers including USA or India on numerous occasions. As I pointed out previously that fake liberals can’t understand the meaning of equality based mutually beneficial relationships. They only know about master-slave or enemy-enemy relationships. Kashmir is core issue not just between India and Pakistan but the real party in the issue are Kashmiri people. Instead of using the issue for political point scoring or exploiting nationalist jingoism, we need serious steps towards peace in the region. I think if we can find people like Imran Khan on Indian side as well then we can have a good chance of peace in the region and justice based resolution of issues.
It is sad to write that the world has lost a true hero who taught us how to counter tyranny with patience and strength of character. Nelson Mandela is dead and we all will remember the great leader with great respect.
He is surely the most iconic political figure of current times and was someone who not only touched the lives of fellow South Africans but also became a hope for people living all over the world.
It is interesting that the same people who are now waging wars on smaller countries in the name of spreading civilization, also used to call him a terrorist. He was on USA terror watch list along with other leader’s of Mandela’s African National Congress (ANC) were on USA terror watch list. Mandela was also a great supporter of Palestine and opposed the apartheid system created by Israeli authorities.
We salute the great struggle of Mandela and hope the world will see more like him.
For many Pakistanis, it seems west means US and UK. For slave minded fake liberals, it seems good relations with west means acting like a bitch of UK and US governments.Even on drones issue, key NATO member like Germany is not on the same page with USA and it tried to distance itself from the issue but Pakistan never bothered to approach these countries to bring some sanity in their partners.
Why should Pakistan government do that when it is run by fake liberals, sectarian fascists and slave minds who are working as mercenary for US administration? Other countries also know that so they don’t bother to come out like they did on Syria or even North Korea which are run by two most oppressive and brutal regimes.
Pak government, army and fake liberals don’t seem to have any idea of having relationships other than master-slave or enemy-enemy relationship.
China and US/Japan/Taiwan have serious issues which can turn into potential military clashes but they still enjoy good people to people relationship, trade on equal terms, academic collaboration etc. Pakistan, despite acting as a slave and mercenary for US and UK never bothered to establish serious academic relationship or research collaborations in civil or military areas. In fact some big technology based industrial projects and technology transfer happened through China, Russia, France, Germany and other partners on equal cooperation basis but still our fake liberals and establishment cannot come out of their colonial past of serving UK or the power which replaced it after second world war i.e. USA.
Even in US or UK, Pakistani establishment only focuses on security related institutions and never bothered to understand broader opinion which also include anti-war, non-interventionist, non-corporatist or anti-military industrial complex groups.
But then again what benefit will it give to establishment which relies on mercenary services to corporatists sitting in White house or military industrial complex which runs Pentagon?
